“I am so pumped to be participating in a clinical trial at Johns Hopkins for older boys with DMD and heart problems. I go there with some of my crew every three months, and we are getting to know Baltimore pretty well.

On our last visit, a DGW supporter invited us aboard her pirate ship that cruises the inner harbor. Some long-time DGW supporters from Garrison Forest School and a handful of kids with DMD came out to sail with us. Even my doctor joined the fun.

Back when we made our movie, we never dreamed that I would have the chance to be part of a clinical trial, so that just shows you how much research is going on. Know about it!”
