I am so proud to be a part of Matt’s Promise and the work we do each day to raise awareness and support for children living with fatal diseases. Lilly and Mia, my daughters with Matt, are now 13 and 11, busy with dance and gymnastics. Every now and then, when Lilly breaks into a song or laughs a certain way, it is as if Matt is in the room with us. Mia, who was only 1 when Matt passed away, loves to look at the pictures of the two of them.
I feel so lucky now to be remarried to David, and to have a wonderful blended family with both the girls and my two amazing stepsons, Justin and Brandon. Justin and Brandon love being active members of the Matt’s Promise organization, running an annual high school Charley’s Fund basketball tournament.
Recently, I have gone back to my retail roots, opening 2 Red Mango franchises in my hometown of Millburn and the neighboring town of Summit. Working again has been extremely rewarding as it keeps me motivated, close to the community and inspired.
